The Ministry of Trade has launched an anti-dumping investigation into solar glass products originating from the People's Republic of China, Malaysia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, following applications from domestic solar glass producers. According to the communiqué published in the Official Gazette, the investigation entered into force on the publication date.
In its preliminary assessment, the Ministry stated that sufficient evidence was found indicating that imports from these countries have increased in recent years and caused material injury to domestic producers through price pressure.
Within the scope of the investigation, information will be requested from producers, exporters and importers in the relevant countries, and parties will be given 37 days to respond. Notifications will be sent to relevant embassies and known companies.
The investigation will be conducted based on the review period of 1 October 2024 – 30 September 2025 and the injury period of 1 January 2022 – 30 September 2025.
